Changing market conditions are testing all companies and these new challenges have put strains on some businesses. Ginlong Solis Technologies has addressed these challenges and have increased sales, market share and export volumes, to feature among the top three positions in the PV inverter market.

Increasing inverter exports from China, and greater sales and acceptance outside of China have become the market trends. The total of Chinese inverter exports is valued at $1.3 billion. The top 20 PV inverter companies accounting for almost 50% and the top 5 accounting for 36.44% of the total export value.

Chinese inverter exports have increased for the third year in a row. This is despite a trade war with the U.S. which has U.S. imposed tariffs of 25% of $250 billion of Chinese imports and the threat of a further 10% of tariffs on another $300 billion of imports if a trade deal between the U.S. and China cannot be reached.

According to China’s Import/Export data, half of China’s inverter exports went to five countries – Netherlands (16% of total value), United States (15%), Vietnam (10%), India (6%) and Germany (5%). Emerging markets and thriving demand in Europe offer new growth opportunities for key Chinese manufacturers over the next few years.

"Despite turbulent market conditions for solar inverters since 2018, Ginlong continues to increase year-over-year sales, market share and export volumes of our Solis string inverter portfolio." Says Ginlong President Yiming Wang. “Our Global expansion leverages strategic offices in the U.S., Europe, Australia, India and Brazil to support our inverter export push going into 2020.”
