When moisture is trapped within the MC4 connector it can result in corrosion, which will compromise the integrity of the connector and may lead to isolation faults and performance issues in the future. There is now an excellent solution to this, with the use of SolarEdge MC4 sealing kits - OPT-SEAL-100. Each kit comes with 100 pairs on MC4 caps.   The sealing kits can easily be fitted to the input leads whilst the Power Optimizers are boxed up, saving time on the roof. They are also reusable allowing you to move them from project to project. Perfect for:

• Installations where the Power Optimizers are to be installed during wet conditions.
• Large commercial projects where there is several weeks between the installation of Power Optimizers and modules.
